'I am the dissolver of breath... The burier of tomorrows... The cursed husk of empty desire... And yet hope lingers of certain future for this blessed habitation, this welcoming isle, this world.'

A female ruler prepares to marry, hoping to bear children and ensure the continuation of her dynasty. A stranger is washed up on the shore and urges the colonists to embrace new customs from a new world... with tragic consequences.

Following Full Body and The Voice's highly successful tour of Hypothermia, this production features an ensemble of eight actors from the core company in an intimate in-the-round performance.

Saw Hypothermia at LBT, it has left a lasting impression. Totally different to anything we have seen before.
Looking forward to seeing Colony, have already booked tickets, as don't want to miss out.

I very much enjoyed the production of Hypotermia that I saw in Huddersfield. The writing was exceptional and the performances throughout the cast were extremely impressive. I cant wait to get to see more work from FB&TV via Colony. It sounds ruddy excellent and I am sure it will be. Keep up the good work team!

I Cant wait to see Colony. I saw Hypothermia in London and thought it was the best play I had seen in years. Vanessa Brooks excellent writing and the performances were incredibly moving. Laced with a sharp dry humour the plot was terrific. This Company is a trailblazer in contemporary theatre.

Thanks Maggie...It's shaping up to be a terrific world premiere- same creative team as Hypothermia with Laurence Kaye composing an amazing score and Kevin Jenkins designing an extraordinary look...and the actors are at the peak of their skills ready for an intriguing and gripping plot...Look forward to seeing you there...

Made my spine tingle when I read the blurb above - really looking forward to seeing this Vanessa.... the work just gets better and better.
